Why Join The Rural Community Developers Network?

No other organization focuses on the needs of the diverse universe of rural community developers.  The Network exists to educate funders, lenders and policy makers about the unique challenges and opportunities facing rural communities, and give members a voice in the debate over public policies.

As a Network Member, you have the opportunity to connect with your peers across the country, and to strengthen efforts to bring more attention, resources and policy support for your work.

Members of the Network receive Stand Up's bi-weekly newsletter, the Network Reporter which provides you with the latest news on policy developments, funding and financing opportunities, training events and conferences and the other resources your group needs to succeed.

To join the Network of Rural Community Developers, your organization needs to be a private nonprofit corporation working to develop a rural community with significant numbers of low income residents.  Network members receive the biweekly Network Reporter free by e-mail, blastfax or hard copy.  It contains information on funding and financing opportunities, policy issues, trainings and other resources.  If you are not a Rural Community Developer but would like to receive the Network Reporter, please sign up as a Friend of the Network and we will be happy to send you a complimentary electronic copy.
